Meet Dr. Ben Jamison

Ben Jamison, DDS

I am honored and humbled to be able to practice dentistry on a daily basis. I have never had a day in my career that I wanted to do anything else. I feel that being a dentist allows me to fulfill my purpose and spiritual calling. There is no other profession that allows one to participate in the infusion of love and worth into another individual for a lifetime as much as dentistry does.

We have the very best patients in the world. They desire to improve their lives by trusting us with the management of their oral health. They are loving and appreciative to me and my staff through their loyalty and their kindness.

Education and Continuing Education

After attending Murfreesboro Central High School, I was president of the first graduating class of Murfreesboro Riverdale High School. I stayed in town to get my Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) in 1977 and received my dental training at the University of Tennessee Center for the Health Sciences in Memphis.

I participate in continuing education on a regular basis, always staying current on new materials and technology in order to give our patients the very best dental treatment available. I am also interested in improving myself in the areas of leadership and practice management. I am an alumnus of the Pride Institute, a dental practice management training group, and have served as a faculty speaker in their continuing education program. I have also had the privilege to lecture to several dental study clubs about leadership and practice management.

In the Practice

My team is truly wonderful. I have made it a point to hire only the best employees in the profession. Not only are they highly skilled but they are dedicated to making every person that walks into the office feel like an honored guest. My staff members have been with me for many years, and our patients have the confidence that they’ll see familiar faces at each of their visits.

Outside the Office

Except for the years I spent in dental school, I have lived in Murfreesboro for my entire life and am proud to serve the community where I grew up. My wife, Carol, and I have been married for 31 years. We have two grown children, Audrey and Benjamin a daughter-in-law Becky, and a granddaughter, Blair.

I am a true sports enthusiast, supporting MTSU Blue Raider athletics and following Titans football.  I’m also constantly working on my golf game! I love to sing, especially with my wife who is an accomplished pianist. When I have some down time I enjoy reading anything I can get my hands on.
